Jammu, January 24 (KNO) Regional Secretary, CPI(M) Jammu Sham Prasad Kesar has expressed deep concern over the loss of human lives, livestock and property of the people living near the LOC and International Border from Poonch to Kathua. The intermittent firing from across the border for the last one week has created havoc in the area and people have been suffering badly due to cold weather conditions also. The injured are not provided Quality treatment in the Govt. Medical College Jammu, as revealed by the protests of the relatives of injured. Proper arrangement for providing the shelter facilities to the affected border victims by the government mismatches its tall claims. Kesar, exhorted upon both the governments to resume meaningful dialogue to resolve bilateral issues. Besides he demanded adequate compensation for the victim families for the loss suffered, proper arrangement of shelter, food and quality treatment for injured.(KNO)
